Modern career guidance and education for teenagers

Big Fish began with hands-on work with teenagers through educational programmes and camps. It was in this live environment that we learned how teenagers make decisions, engage with professions and respond to learning scenarios.

This stage became the foundation for everything that followed.

After years of working with different career guidance formats, the team began to systematise its experience. We analysed existing Ukrainian, European and American methods and identified their limits. In response, the Big Fish approach took shape — one that combines personality type, motivation, skills and the real job market.

From 2019 Big Fish became an education project with clear formats: camps for teenagers, courses and long-term development programmes. The team moved from one-off projects to regular work with permanent programmes and a stable team.

This stage established Big Fish as an active education project with its own products rather than one-off initiatives.

We went beyond Ukraine. We now run camps and educational programmes in the United Kingdom, Spain, Turkey and Moldova — and in winter in Austria — working with international teams of mentors and teenagers from different countries.

For us, this stage was a real step from a local project to an international education initiative with one methodology and shared standards.

Today Big Fish combines camps, courses, career programmes and a methodology for training specialists. We work with teenagers, parents and educational institutions, scaling our approach through partnerships and professional training.
