What all our camps share

Teenagers working on a project at camp
01

Real projects

Not lectures about professions, but teamwork on a real result — from idea to presentation.

02

Skills for the future

Communication, leadership, critical thinking and English — through practice, not a textbook.

03

Safety and care

Experienced counsellors and mentors are there every day, so everyone feels at home.

04

Joy and movement

Sport, games, evening events and friends for life. Camp is, above all, vivid.

Questions parents ask most often

Didn't find an answer, or not sure which camp to choose? We'll help.

How many children are in a group?

About 20 participants at our international camps — enough to make friends, and few enough for everyone to get attention.

Who looks after the children?

The Big Fish leader team — experienced adults who stay in the same hotel as the children and accompany every activity 24/7.

What ages are the camps for?

The international summer camps in Greece and Portugal are for children and teenagers aged 9–17; winter Austria is 11+. Check the age range for the Ukraine camp on its page.

Is surfing, kayaking or water-sports experience needed?

No. Every session starts with a briefing, instructors stay with the group, and the programme is adapted for beginners. In Portugal, surf instructors with 10+ years' experience teach in English — so children practise the language at the same time.

Is the sea and ocean safe?

Yes. Every session starts with a briefing, instructors are in the water with the group, and there's a flexible plan for anyone who needs an easier day.

How does the travel work?

For the international camps — a group flight from Warsaw. A group transfer Kyiv ↔ Warsaw can be arranged separately. Your manager will share the details.

What about food and allergies?

Meals are in cafés, restaurants and tavernas rather than a canteen. We cater for vegetarian, lactose-free or gluten-free diets — just let us know in advance.

How do parents get updates?

Regular updates, photos from activities and a chat with the camp coordinator.

How do I book a place?

Leave a request — a manager will contact you within one working day with contract and payment details.
